-Dimensional analysis notes (on unit 1 powerpoint on website)
-Practice problems
-Measurement lab continued (do the makeup lab sheet on the website if you were not here)
-Dimensional analysis challenge homework sheet: students should have made an effort on this and credit was granted. If you did not receive full credit, you can still show this to me for full credit!
Friday 8/26:
-Measurement quiz!!
Those of you that did not do so well on the quiz need to study before the exam on Friday, September 9th.
Monday 8/29
-Go over quiz
-Lab "mini-quiz"-you need to turn in your lab if you were not here to take this
-Physical and chemical properties notes-Physical and chemical properties powerpoint is on website
-Puzzle piece activity
-Bimetallic rod demonstration :)
-Physical and chemical change video
Wednesday we will start mixtures, compounds, and solutions. We will also do a physical & chemical change station lab! :)

**If you were absent, you need to set up your notebook. The instructions are on the website under beginning of the year; it is called ISN intro. Also, you need to get credit for your homework by handing your homework sheet in (don't attach in notebook yet). This applies to all further homework: if you miss taking the homework quiz, you will need to hand in your homework to me so I can make sure that you did it and understand it.
QUIZ: Friday over measurement, metric conversions, and dimensional analysis (which we will learn wednesday) Begin studying now!

-Measurement skill sheet
**HW: complete measurement skill sheet for HW quiz Monday. Bring supplies and safety contract. We are setting up our notebooks Monday :)

-The scienctific method
-10 adjectives describing science
-Cool Science Video!
-Team building activity
-Begin measurement notes??
**Don't forget to bring your supplies on Monday so we can set up your notebooks. Your work done today (black box sketch, scientific method, and adjectives) should be kept on a sheet of paper, and we will all attach it in our notebooks on Monday on the right page number.

Welcome
Welcome BHS Freshman to Physical Science!
I am so excited to have you all in my physical science class, and I enjoyed meeting each of you yesterday. This blog will be a great tool for you and your parents to use throughout the school year. I will provide information to help you stay informed. I will post agendas, due dates, homework assignments, and more. Please subscribe so that you can get email updates when I post something new. Also, feel free to comment and ask questions or express any concerns. I look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday!
Don't forget to bring your supplies to class by Monday, August 22nd. Those include:

Markers or colored pencils
Glue or glue sticks
Pocket folder with a supply of paper
